About Dr. Uhl
Dr. Uhl is originally from Sioux City, Iowa. He was a faculty member at the University of Tennessee and then the University of Kansas in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology before moving to Gallatin. He was very active in the hepatology and liver transplant programs at both institutions. Mark and his wife, Dr. Jennifer Uhl, have two children, Heidi and Lydia. He enjoys outdoor activities, especially running, cycling, and barbeque. He runs 2-3 marathons each year.
